La despedida (the farewell) is a reflection on the universal human experience of grief and separation over time, through the personal and energetical medium of ceramic.
Inspired by the physical and symbolical act of carrying clay, the exhibition relates a transformative process regarding an essential figure, that culminates into liberation. Through its materiality, symbolism, and vocabulary of lines, the sculptures and drawings embodies the connection between the present moment and memory, serving as a catalyst to expand cousciousness and induce instrospection.
